Christmas 2024 is just around the corner. We would like to take the opportunity this festive season to thank our partners and customers for the trust they have vested in us and for a great cooperation. This year, instead of sending Christmas gifts, we have once again decided to support an organization that is dedicated to creating a better future for disadvantaged children.
Our cause this year is Christmas in a Shoebox® – Love Can Be Packed, internationally known as Operation Christmas Child. This annual campaign by the organisation Samaritan’s Purse fills shoeboxes with small gifts for children in need around the world, bringing them unforgettable Christmas joy.
To actively participate in this campaign, we hosted a packing party at 4 Square Return GmbH with our sister company 1cc GmbH as a team event. On that day, the employees of TechProtect and 1cc turned into Christmas elves and together, packed 54 shoeboxes with lovingly selected gifts.
Whether by truck, ship, or donkey, the gift packages travel far to bring children more than a moment of happiness. This season, the packages from the German-speaking regions will be sent to children in Eastern Europe, specifically to Bulgaria, Estonia, Georgia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary, and Belarus. In addition to the German-speaking countries, shoeboxes are also packed for disadvantaged children in Australia, New Zealand, Finland, the United Kingdom, Canada, Spain, South Korea, and the United States. In 2023, a total of 11,330,126 children were gifted worldwide.
Together, TechProtect and 1cc wanted to make a contribution. The packing party was a special experience for us – accompanied by a wonderful, festive atmosphere that enchanted all the senses: the scent of oranges, cinnamon, cloves, gingerbread, and a hint of mulled wine and punch danced through the air. Not only did we grow even closer as a team, but we also hope that the love, unity, and joy we felt will travel along in every single package.
We are very pleased to be able to donate to bringing smiles to many children’s faces under the motto “Love Can Be Packed.”
