We believe that our services should not only be part of the circular economy, they also have to be implemented with sustainable processes. For this reason, we attach great importance to partners who fit our concept. In the case of services such as a trade-in program or a take-back, cardboard transport boxes are usually used to collect the old equipment. During production, we are very concerned about the lowest possible CO2 emissions and the sustainable use of materials. Currently, our program boxes are made from almost 100% recycled material or waste paper. The remaining material comes from corrugated cardboard from sustainable forestry (FSC verification). Since 2020, our box manufacturer has switched to electricity from hydropower. This saves approximately 2,500 tons of CO2 emissions annually. The plastic straps in use during bundling are also collected, recycled and reused. When cartridges from printers are returned, so-called inlays are often used to prevent contamination due to the toner dust. For this purpose, we use thin plastic bags made from post-consumer recyclate (PCR).
